Hiya *waves*

  • Everyone here looks very supportive and determined, just the type of people I need to surround myself with!

I'm restarting my weight loss journey, which began several years ago when I was at my peak of 224 at 20 years old. I always maintained a "normal" figure (about 140-145lbs) when I lived with my parents, but when I moved out at 17, I was only interested in eating garbage. I grew up with a diabetic father, so sweets and other unhealthy foods were a rarity. So you better believe when I broke out, it was sugar, sugar, sugar!! My goal weight is to be 145 again.

I'm 22 years old now with a body weight of 171 pounds.
I must admit I'm on my second round of Phentermine under the supervision of a doctor. It's been a year break since my first round and I didn't regain any of the weight, thanks to eating right and working out. I didn't think I'd be trying to lose more weight since I was "okay" where I was at, but it'd feel REALLY good to get back to what I was. Let's do this. >:]

I'll see you guys around the forums. =^.^=
  • Welcome to the forums! I'm pretty new here myself. (I registered last year but only recently came pack and started posting.)

What kind of diet are you following?
  • Thanks! :] I'm following a low calorie diet, watching (but not completely avoiding) carb intake. It's pretty much about portion control, exercising and lots & lots of water.
  • Good luck! I look forward to seeing your posts. Maybe check out Featherweights? It's for people with around fifty or less pounds to lose. And Twenty-somethings could be fun for you as well.

    See you around.
