I made my boyfriend a proposition last night. If I lose 20lbs by the end of the year he has to quit smoking. His smoking disgusts me so I am hoping this is the motivation I have been needing!
I think little challenges like this are kinda fun, though he should quit regardless :P lol!
It's kinda nice to have something to work for. Honestly I think that's a huge problem I'm having right now. Nothing "challenging" to work for... my first weight loss was because I was having a wedding. Now I don't have that "challenge" to work toward and I find it so much harder.
That's a great idea. It's always great to find new ways to motivate yourself. I'll have to make up some little challenges to keep me motivated. Thanks for sharing this!
20 lbs may not be realistic but it gives me something to shoot for. He has had no drive to quit smoking so maybe with seeing me work my tush off (literally) he will have more desire to quit. I would be happy with 10 pounds in 2 months. Now I just need to learn how to plan. I have been working out before work this week and I always seem to forget something. Like today it was a real bra. So I am having to wear my extra sports bra I had in my bag. Not my idea of comfort but oh well! I got my workout in!
