Okay. So. This week I stepped it up a notch with exercise. I did two zumba classes and two BodyPump classes, as opposed to my usual walks or elliptical sessions. My activity points (I'm on WW) jumped from 20 to 38 - nearly double what I usually do.
In addition to that, I tracked everything that went in my mouth, met all my health guidelines, yada yada yada. I worked miracles this week, people.
So this morning, I got on the scale (my WI isn't until tonight at WW, but I like to have some idea of what it's going to say) and I was UP 2.4 POUNDS.
Yes, I know it's water weight. Yes, I know that it's brought on due to my body freaking out and my muscles being sore and all the other things. But I would just like to scream for a second about how much it sucks that you can do EVERYTHING right and the scale still decides to point and laugh!
Okay, that's it, vent over. I will continue on the good road this week, keep up the exercise, and eventually science (and drinking a metric crap-ton of water) has to win out.

! We have to stop giving it so much power over us! (self included). Let's find other ways to measure our progress!
