  • Gale -- I personally think you're idea is fabulous! There's no point in getting down if sodium is the prime suspect! (I think you're right about the popcorn too.)

    Beck -- GREAT job! You are rockin' the scale this month!! I haven't personally experienced the screwy cycle thing but I've heard that it's very common in women losing weight because estrogen is stored in fat...so when you're losing a lot - the estrogen is released into your blood stream. I'm certainly no expert here but that's what I've heard...

    Openup -- I personally say don't worry about the personals. We're all here to get the support we need and give the support we can. We love to hear from you but take care of yourself and the rest will fall into place!

  • Morning all! I'm down the .4 from yesterday, so back to 208.8 - yesterday was a weird food day for me....I was way under calories, but I really didn't feel hungry at all. Very weird for me with TTOM approaching fast, but I'll take it, there are enough TOM days when I want to eat everything in site, so I think I needed this one.

    16: 218.5 OMG this was the worst/best week ever! The worst week because I was on a break from diet and exercise. The best week because my sister graduated with her Master's in Social Work (SO POURD!), one of my dear friends got married, and I got to spend time with my Mommy and Daddy (they were up from Georgia). I'm definately getting back to my daily routine (although I missed my morning run). I've got just 8.5 lbs more to go before I can reach my 210 goal for this month. I know that I can do it!!

I didn't wake up this morning but damn it I'm going to the gym as soon as I get home from work. Also I really need to start counting calories again. It's kind of hard to eat healthy when you are on a tight budget. I've been getting a lot of compliments on my weight loss ,but that is no excuse to slack off. I'm reaffirming my weight loss commitment today!
