So I decided I really want to start pushing myself with my workouts... I've been doing interval cardio, but I also want to work on distance too. My friend wants me to do a half-marathon with her in September (far away so I know its doable) but I also just really want to get into shape.
Are there any online resources that have workout schedules with cardio/upper/lower/core plans that stretch and get progressively harder over a period of a couple of months?
In college I thought about going to marine OCS and I had an 8 week schedule for that... I got in the best shape of my life, I can't find it but I remember that schedule only had you go up to a distance of like 4 miles, because you only need to be able to run 3 miles to go to Paris Island.
Basically I want something detailed, comprehensive, and about 2-3 months long... any idea where I can find something like that?
I utilize routines and exercises from several sources including bodyrock.tv. Perhaps if you dont find routines that get progressively different, I would say create that yourself. Find a routine and then modify it as time goes on by adding weights, or adding more weights, and doing intervals, etc.
