Default less carbs and more protein! it's working!

yesterday i posted about being constantly hungry and was told i'm way overdoing the carbs, so today instead of having a bagel and cream cheese, i had an omelet with cheese and veggies, i still had my little side fruit salad with a spoonful of yogurt and a little granola for crunch, but i just looked at the clock and it's after 11, and i'm not hungry! i blew past when i usually want an AM snack without thinking of food once!

thanks for helping me already, i feel like i can really do this this time!

That's awesome! I love it when I breeze past my morning snack without even realizing it. By that time, it's too close to lunch to need a snack!

That "I really can do it this time!" feeling is awesome, isn't it?

What's even better is that as the weeks go by, you'll build up a repertoire of things that you especially like and that keep you fuller for longer. It actually becomes easier to plan meals, shop, and cook when you have a bigger bag of tricks from which to draw.

I love that you took the advice and gave it a try -- and that it's working!

I don't eat low carb, but I do try to always pair any carbs I eat with a substantial protein and keep out of most of the white stuff and snacky stuff. When I eat this way, my appetite is totally under control. I do occasionally veer from the plan, and I pay for it with the hungries like crazy and need a couple days of good eating before I'm back to my "normal" appetite.

I'm glad you have discovered first hand what I believe is the big secret for me on how to keep this going long-term -- figuring out a good plan where my body is properly nourished and NOT BEING HUNGRY!
