Default Need help on healthy lunch options

I start my new job on Monday, and I need ideas of what I can have for lunch?? In my last job I ended up eating the same thing and it wasn't particularly healthy, so I'm keen for any help, tips, ideas of ways that I can make my lunch healthy and more interesting. All comments are very much appreciated

I always enjoyed making turkey wraps or chicken salads. If you have a fridge at your work, those can stay fresh.

Do you have a microwave?

I buy a big pack of fresh chicken breasts ($1.78/lb at Wal-mart here!) and bake them on the weekend. They stay good in the fridge all week. Then I just take chunks of chicken and eat them with a fork. Mustard, low-sugar spaghetti sauce, black pepper, hot sauce--lots of ways to dress up plain chicken. I eat it cold. I also pack a variety of vegetables and fruit (depending on what's on sale/in season) and sometimes sf/ff yogurt.

ETA: as long as it's cold and covered when I leave for work, I don't really worry about refrigerating it if it's just going to be sitting for a few hours in the air conditioning. But if you do, you can buy those freezer packs and an insulated lunch box.

I love wraps. I used to not have a fridge or a microwave so I would use frozen chicken put some cheese and bacon (yes, bacon; I calorie count and a little fat is fine) in a wrap and leave it out. By lunch it was ready to eat. It love them on healthy wraps or even Flat Out bread. It's in the bakery section. You can even add light dressing if you are so inclined. My lunch usually came to less than 400 calories and was very satisfying.

I usually take chicken or tuna and cut veggies or salad. Soups are handy if you have a microwave- pair it with a bit of cottage cheese or other low fat protein. Leftovers are always handy, and in a real pinch I take PB&J
