It feels different this time.

  • I'm 21 years old and 208 lbs. I have been heavy all of my life and I come from a plus-sized family with a great love of food. I was never made fun of for my weight and my self esteem is pretty high. But I want to be able to run an entire mile (or more!) without dying and I want to be able to wear a bikini for the first time while I'm still young. I want to be able to have control over my food instead of letting it control me. So here are my goals:
    1) Run a 5k by March
    2) Run a Half Marathon by February 2012
    3) Reach my goal weight and buy a bikini (probably not for this summer but definitely the next one!!)
  • I am new to this forum but I am ready to share my weight loss process as I begin it. I am ready to be fit for the summer and enjoy living in my body. A healthier and happier me is most important, losing weight isn't about what others think of me, but more of what I think of myself.

    January 7, 2011 - Current weight is 183.6
    April 01, 2011 - I hope to be in the 150's
    May 17, 2011 - I hope to be in the 130's
