I am discouraged and feel like I won't be able to make it through the week without binging again now. (I'm on Weight Watchers, and we have extra points we can use to trade for food, but I've used up nearly all my points). I really need those extra points to spread out during the week.
That was only one day!!! you are stronger than your cravings, just for this week....you can do this!!!! and then another week will starts and you'll spread out your extra points...don't beat yourself up for this....but do gain control again, and you'll be so happy with yourself.
GOOD CHOICES = HAPPINESS...POOR CHOICES = DEPRESSION, you choose. good luck to you
Keep with it! Don't get down on yourself for already using your extra points, that is what they are there for! You can TOTALLY make it through the end of the week, each day is a new start with the right decisions. Good luck!!
You're fine.. That was last night . Today is thursday.. Forget it ..just act like today is your first day .. I know its difficult at work in hospitals. I think you have to walk away. Tell more people that you're trying ane elicit their help to stop with the goodies until you become stronger.
Ask them to give you some kind of sine if they see you eating junk. They will help. People want to see people succeed.
if you are still withing your points your week isn't blown at all.
I meant that I don't like to use them all in one day. I like to spread them out, like 5 or so a day. Only 7 for the rest of the week are left now. That puts me prone to binging.

what I meant was deciding you have blown it and the week is ruined is a good way to end up binging as well.
You never blow the future by blowing the past. If you binged away 3,000 calories or whatever number points yesterday then if you eat 1,500 cals tomorrow and the next day and the next then there's a good chance you will still lose weight at the end of the week, or at least maintain. If you put away another 3,000 on the basis that it's "already ruined" then you'll only add weight that you'll need to lose again the following week. It's not ruined, you had a lapse and now you are back on the program.
Sounds like you need to plan out the rest of your week.
I make up a sheet pan full of roasted veggies primarily cauliflower and brussel sprouts -because they have so much fiber and they fill me up. I put them in a zip lock with oil,a bit of balsamic vinegar, and onions with a bit of salt and pepper - coat them and bake at 425 for app.30 minutes. They last me 4-5 days. This works with other veggies too -but these 2 satisfy the "hungries" best for me.
Just 1 idea -but the point is to plan ahead and be prepared so that when you get hungry, you have healthy ,weight loss friendly options. Hope this helps -L.
