Hi am new here, I have been dieting successfully for about 6 months. I have lost 70 pounds so far, but it has not been easy. I am type II diabetic. Diabetics struggle with weight loss, as I have discovered after extensive research, because of their diet (high glycemic index foods) and excess insulin. Someone steered me to CNET where I downloaded the diet I am using. It was designed for people that are diabetic or struggle to lose weight. It has helped.
Over the past 10 years I have tried so many different things, including Atkins and South Beach; but I always gained the weight back. It has been a very frustrating ordeal.
My goal is to make the 100 lb club. That will likely take a few more months. It would help to have others to work with, because I know that the final pounds can be the most difficult.
