How do you all do it? I really need to know. I have arthritis in a lot of my body and now apparently my back. It seems like I get going on a good pace and end up stalled from pain. How do you manage to get things done like painting a kitchen or mowing the lawn when cleaning your house and buying groceries leaves you in pain? I'm gonna go back to the doc but I don't want to be on pain meds and I have a condition that doesn't allow me to take anti-inflammatories. What do I do now? I am working on the weight and trying to do what I can for exercise, even though I've given up op pounding out a bunch of cardio. I am sticking to strength training and trying to strengthen my body. What else can I do besides take acetaminophen, grin and bear it?
Water aerobics. I have arthritis in my knees, back, neck and hands. I go to a water aerobics class for arthritics at the Y. I love it. Since I started exercising like that I'm much more flexible and pain free most days.
