I scratched my favorite pair of sunglasses this weekend. It's a couple of small pits in the center of the lens, just in the spot where light reflects funny now.

Had anyone every repaired a scratch in plastic lenses using those "as seen on tv" kits? I don't want to shell out $20 if it is not going to work.
