Attempting South Beach...

  • So, after much though and consideration, I have decided to move forth with the lifestyle change that is the South Beach. I have had many friends who have had success with it.

    Is there anyone else who has found success with this--long term success?

    I could really use major encouragement with this as my biggest fight will be with carbs. Sugar not so much.

  • I've read it and some of the recipes interest me since I like low GI, but I have not pursued it as written.

  • I've been following a modified version of SBD for six months now, and I have lost 43 pounds. It is sustainable for me, definitely. I have weeks where I eat more carbs than other weeks, but the core of the program keeps me on track.
