Haha, I guess she just has really strong teeth! My mother had just bathed her and she reached up, bit down hard on the ring, and took off running. We think she was retaliating for having her dirt taken away by taking away something that my mother liked. :P

The diamond has been found, though! And thoroughly sanitized... hahaha.
