I am new to 3FC & looking for advice.

  • Today will be the first day of my new diet and exercise plan. I would like to lose 30 pounds by Christmas time, but I have troubles committing to a plan in the past. Any suggestions on how to stay motivated?

    We are glad you are here. I started my healthier eating on June 29 and I set a goal for myself of no soda,junk food or fast food. I take it one day at a time and I have lost about 5lbs so far. Good luck and keep us updated

  • Can you visualize yourself at oh say 129 lb on December 1?

    Do you say to yourself Wow I've done so well, my old pants so baggy and I'm able to wear that cute dress I bought 3 years ago. It's so fun being a part of that (pick one) volleyball team , swim club, on line fitness challenge. I'm a real winner!!

    or do you think This is awful it's been three months and I'm only half way to my goal. I was never meant to succeed at this-I might as well give up and do what I want,change to another quick fix diet, sit at home and do all my travel through the computer, no reason to go out when I can't wear a size 5.

    It's easy from the standpoint where you are right now to go up or down 20lbs. Those tickers on the chicks signature don't slant down to goal-it can be a hard road to walk along and you can sometimes get turned around. Remember your control is within yourself and depends a lot on your attitude.Approach it as a adventure and it will be more doable.
