  • So like a lot of you, I'm doing C25k. I'm only on Week 2... Day 1, and this morning I went to the gym and did my run. Boy was I scared (though I was too tired to care that I was scared, LOL).

    In retrospect, this is only day 4 of this 36-day program. It's not that far in, and not many people complain about Week 2.

    However, when I did my run today, and passed with flying colors... I was elated inside. I walked with my head held high and even though my body hasn't physically changed in the past week... in my mind I'm that sexy girl on a magazine cover.

    I've had the confidence to wear shorts (which I haven't done in years. I have terrible self esteem) and feel pretty darn sexy . So instead of locking myself in the house all day (which is what I'd usually do) I went out and went to the lake (didn't swim, but at least I got out, walked a little, and did some things I wouldn't typically do).

    If you're on the edge about doing the program and you're truly not a runner, I highly encourage you to. These highs you get from meeting those goals.... Incomparable.

  • That's amazing! It's a real pick-me-up when you get that feeling of self accomplishment. I get that feeling when I work out, I feel so amazing, like I'm this strong amazing woman and nothing can stop me! haha
