Ok... so... let me explain a few things. Around a year ago we moved back to the USA for one year. We had been living for the past eight years in Serbia, which is in Eastern Europe, two countries above Greece. It's home.
Well... we were feeling pretty sure that we would be heading back June 28th.
Nope. We got an email from our mission organization saying that they couldn't get the paperwork together for the visas until July 14th (which is when we are flying out). Odd... because they have had the entire past YEAR to get this paperwork together. That... and we might not have had this delay anyways if they had just let my Dad go back to Serbia in October to renew the visas we already had. I mean... it was all scheduled, the plane tickets bought, everything... and then all of the sudden "oh... no... sorry... you can't go do that".
There has been a lot of turnover in leadership... and the people who are in charge right now have absolutely no clue what they're doing.... know absolutely nothing about foreign governments, how visas and passports work, etc. So yeah... smart... right? Considering almost everyone in their company works in countries all over the world.
But yeah... we have to wait two more weeks because our superiors decided to let the paperwork for us wait until the last minute. Thanks guys.

This gives me 4 weeks to try and get all of my stuff packed up and ready to go... and this is including all of the time my family needs to go find a new house for us to live in (since, despite the fact that it IS the cheapest, we're supposed to be poor missionaries and we have to live in a smaller house), move in, and so on. Plus we have to travel to Budapest and a few other places ("business" related) during that time. 6 weeks was pushing it... but 4? It'll be a nightmare (for me, my family is staying there... I'm going back to the US).
Urgh... this gives me almost no time to enjoy my time there... just to get my stuff and go...
