Back on the horse

  • The holiday weekend was filled with festivities. I had fun, and now I'm starting again. I realized that I was allowing too much time between mini-goals. I think I have to go no more than 2-3 days at a time.

I'm back up to 150. But after a cycle of debauchery (did I mention it was fun?) the initial weight gain comes off pretty fast. I'm going to try for 148 by Thursday morning, and then plan my next one from there.
  • Sounds like a plan! Good luck!
  • Good for you.. keep going.....
  • Think I'm gonna make it!! 149 today.
  • Made it!
  • Okay, really I'm responding because your topic made me think of "Look at your man, now look at me. I'm on a horse!"

But then I decided I did have something to say.

It's awesome that you are doing great, and not letting an off weekend ruin your mood. So many people fall off that way! Just remember that a 1-2 pound weight gain can mean next to nothing because of so many factors that have nothing to do with your actual weight loss. I just don't want to see you get discouraged if your weight suddenly goes up a pound one day for seemingly no reason.

Anyway, congrats again on overcoming a mini-hurdle! Those mini-hurdles can be pitfalls in disguise...
