I should work out more often...

  • ...because I look HOTT with sweat dripping down my face.

Hehe... I just spent an hour and a half trying to catch, grooming, and riding a horse. And... it was a workout. Trust me on that... I went to the bathroom after the lesson FEELING all sweaty and nasty, but then I looked in the mirror. HOLY COW... I looked good. The sweat created just the right gleam with my eyeliner and mascara, my cheeks were rosy... etc.

however... unfortunately... I don't think my classmates would like to smell my body odor from all the sweat.

Anyone else ever feel like this? Or just me?
  • I agree I've never felt quite as pretty as after a tough horseback riding lesson when I was a teen. It's one of my goals to lose enough weight to ride regularly again.
  • Lol can't say I feel hot after a workout! My hairs a mess and my face is beet red... buuutt once I lose my weight and start working out in like shorts and a sports bar I could see looking hot doing that
  • I so want to ride! I've always been afraid of being too heavy for the horse, even when I was a kid I remember that. Can't wait until I get to a horse-appropriate size and learn.

Haha... and I'd so love to work out in just a sports bra. I've finally gotten to the point where I don't mind wearing spandex and a tanktop. But there's a long way until the sports bra.
  • I agree!

I am olive complected and especially in the winter when I am pale I tend to look a little bit yellow. Nothing like getting really flushed to make me look pretty!
  • This just made me laugh. I look either amazingly great after a work out or disgustingly bad--there's no middle ground! On my intense cardio days (running, kickboxing), my face is beat red, streaked with sweat and hair is a straggly, sweaty mess. On my light cardio and resistance training days, my face is slightly flushed and glowy and my hair a bit mussed, but in a good way. On those days I always wish some cosmetics company could come up with a blusher to get my cheeks looking like that all the time! So, yeah, I get what you're saying!
  • Uh, no. LOL! It amuses me to no end, but hot? Only in the literal sense. I feel powerful when I sweat profusely. And I stink to high heaven! I think I may well rival the horse smell.
  • I feel empowered - so I feel more sexy but highly doubt I look hot but my DH thinks so lol
  • Awww, glad you feel so great!!! I love riding, but found out I'm preggo again and have to put a stop to it for now I don't feel to good about my body anytime (because I gained 90lbs my last pregnancy in December 2008) and had just started to take that weight off and am now pregnant again, but I do actually FEEL better after walking my 2 miles 2 times a day on the treadmill. I feel energetic and can feel the blood pumping throughout my body, it does feel great! I'm glad to hear you have a good body image, that is awesome!! Keep up the good work sweetpea!
  • I dunno know about ME looking hot, but let me tell you there is this 26 year old cutie pie at the gym who looks SMOKIN' HOT dripping in sweat on the exercise bike....

I love running on the treadmill when he's there, in front of me, with the sweat making his tight t-shirt stick to his back...

I'm pretty sure the gym needs to hire him to work out when I'm there.
  • Well... it's mainly my face... I love my face. With the eyeliner on... I look AWESOME. (at least... that's my opinion... ). But... the body... that's what I'm needing to work on.
