A little background here
So my food victories this week started on Thurdsay. At work we had a vendor expo where various companies come in and try to drum up business and they always have lots of bakery quality treats. I decided not to indulge or treat myself that day and passed over the 300 calorie chocolate chip cookies, pastries and candy. Felt very proud of myself by the end of the day.
On Saturday I went to my chairity sewing group and people had brought in tons of unhealthy foods-homemade coookies and breads, chips and dip all the stuff that would have usually had me nibbling all afternoon. But I stayed out of the food area and didn't feel deprived at all.
Then we went to Sunday Brunch with out of town friends to a place that had among other things a belgium waffle and pancake bar with everything you can imagine as I glare at my dh for bringing me this evil place. But I stood firm, ate on plan-did find a few things that were ok. And felt really good all day yesterday because I didn't use the excuse I usually use of "well, it's only this one time and I've been so good recently I can splurge a little"
So Monday morning starts a new week and I'm feeling on top for a change. Usually my weekends are full of really bad food choices.

and hubby said he was proud of me.
