I'm 2 1/2 years out from WLS (RNY). I'm 58 y/o old and pending!! LOL! Anyway, here was my day yesterday:
Up at 5:30 a.m. with grandchildren
To McD's for breakfast: Had an Egg McMuffin with extra m canadian bacon because GS doesn't like it, but only one muffin half - Special treat for the GKs and I'd worked till 1:00 a.m.
To KMart, Walmart, Amish Nursery for garden supplies
9:00 a.m. Kids dropped off at school
9:30 till 1:00 worked on the yard, planted garden and moved more sod. (I hate moving sod!!!!) During this time, ran up and down the basement steps doing four loads of laundry.
2:00 had steam chicken breast, with new red pots, asparagus, carrots
Back to moving more sod! (Someone please kill me. Only a six ft. by 16 ft. patch left to do!!!!!)
4:30 took shower - to get ready for my first night of East Coast Swing dance lessons
6:00 to 7:30 stepped all over my DH feet, but spun, jumped, slid and twirled - not gracefully either.
8:00 to 10:00 worked
10:00 cleaned kitchen, read and at midnight went to bed.
Confession: Had to take extra strength Tylenol, because I HURT!! But, a good hurt, because 2 1/2 years ago I wouldn't have even been able to get out of the house!!!
Got up this morning with a sore knee, and a tender back but I GOT UP!!!!!!!! YES!!!! I love having my life back. I love LIVING!!!!
