3rd Time's the Charm?

  • Hello all! I have posted here once before, it was about 2 months ago. And that was pretty much how long its been since I tried to be healthier. D:
I'm Diamond, I'm 17 and I'm not sure how much I weigh but I think I weigh about 210. Last year around June, I started dieting. That lasted for about a month. This year in January I started dieting. That lasted about a week. I NEED HELP! I don't want to keep going through these cycles. I need mental help I believe. I don't know, I just think that there is something wrong with me that I cannot stick to something like this.

    Help? PLEASE!
  • There is nothing mentally wrong with you just because you haven't followed through with dieting. I know that I am not speaking for just myself when I say that it is HARD WORK losing weight! We all need a little motivation, so it is good that you joined this site. You can get a lot of tips and advice to modify a diet plan that can work for you. Maybe you should try taking baby steps and not just deprive yourself of everything that you enjoy eating. I know that when I try to jump a diet that cuts out all of the foods that I like, I end up binging or quitting. You should try eating whatever you like for lunch (within moderation) and eat a healthy breakfast and dinner (oatmeal for breakfast and grilled chicken breast and veggies for dinner). You could also try not eating after six o'clock. Just don't give up. You'll get it, and it will get easier (especially when you start seeing results). I know I haven't lost much weight and I'm just starting to get back into the swing of things; but, If you ever need anyone to talk to, you can write me. You can do!

  • Thank you guys. Boy do I need will power. I also need discipline. I don't know, I still consider myself a child, I'm very childish, etc. Still in High School. I have been spoiled and I don't know how to do this without killing myself. I'm looking for an easy way out and I know there are none.
