  • Just curious and hoping to add to my workouts...what do you all do for exercise?

I do 3 days of weight training through a circuit
3-4 days cardio (30-60 minutes) varies between bike, treadmill, eliptical and this new workout I found out on exercise tv. It's a combination of cardio mixed with yoga, core work and stretches. I found it to be a great workout.

So what do you all do?
  • i also do weight training a couple times a week.5 days a week i do about 60 minutes of a combination of bike, elliptical, and treadmill as well (usually only two in a workout not all three)
i've started doing some yoga and im going to try and get some kickboxing this summer.
  • I do as little as exercise as possible. I alternate between Mari Winsor's Pilates 20 minute Workout and Buns and Thighs. But I do it every day, so I hope consistency counts.

  • I walk around our local school track, I walk about 1.5 miles to date, but I am working up to 5 miles each day. I do that wvweyday. I also do a variety of DVD's, including many of the Biggest loser ones and Beach Body for toning. I also play the wii & chase my 4 kiddos.
  • I walk or jog on the treadmill each morning; two or three miles depending how I'm feeling or how much time I have.

I know I should do strength training as well, but I don't belong to a gym so that means I'd have to buy some weights.
  • I do DVDs twice a day for a total of about an hour a day Biggest loser. jillian michaels, turbo jam and the wii your shape
  • I do kickboxing one day a week. I also do Bootcamp 2 days a week (cardio, weight training, and core workouts). I have one rest day a week, and the other 3 days I walk outside, or do a workout on a bike at the gym. I am also trying to get back into doing the Eliptical.
  • I do DVDs, mostly, between 30 and 50 minutes four to six days per week. The DVDs I have all combine strength and cardio. Saturdays I go hiking- 70 min. on a short day, upwards of 4 hours on a long day. The rest of the days (any day I'm not doing a DVD or hiking) I go for a run- 30 minutes, most of the time.
  • i go to the gym 5 days a week .. 45 minutes of cardio & a little strength training every day.
  • I go for swimming and do water aerobics 3 times a week. My program consists of 40 minutes of swiming and 40 minutes of different hydroaerobic exercises. I go walking 30 minutes in the weekend, but it is mosquito season in my place and I am thinking of switching to dance at home for a change.
  • I do 30 mins on elliptical Tue and Thurs, Weights/strength training on Mon, Wed, Fri which includes 15 reps on arms, legs, stomach etc and then sat or sunday 30 mins elliptical or 1 hr ice skating
  • I try and do DVDs at home then try and go to the gym between 3 and 5 times a week, when i can fit it in

Im only just starting out tho so hopfully it will pay off soon!!
  • I do the elliptical 6 mornings a week and then on MWF I add in some weights for my arms--about 20 minutes worth. Starting this week, however, I'm doing core training (crunches, planks, etc.) for about 15 minutes on MWF and continuing my weights on TThSa.
  • I do the elliptical 4 days a week for about 40 minutes. I strength train twice a week and now that the weather is nice I also walk 3 or so miles with a friend a few evenings a week.
  • I jog 3 miles M-W-F (well, did my first 3 mi. today--had to work up to it lol), do an upper body workout with ab exercises Tues-Thurs-Sat (I have a routine at home with resistance bands or I go to the gym and do machines), and do a Pilates workout on Sundays. I'm thinking about adding some laps in the pool on upper body days when I go to the gym.
