Looking for diet buddies!

  • Hi fellow fat chicks (and roosters)

    I have been on every diet known to man over the last 15 years! I am so happy to have found this site. Seeing actual weight, starting, current and goal weights, has been very encouraging to me. The posts are quite insightful and inspiring.

    I am following the weight watchers plan and have been (not consistently) since the beginning of the year. My goal is to become more consistent and slowly loose the weight. I'm also interested in getting back into running and maybe some weight trainning too. See you around the boards!

  • I'm also on Weight Watchers, but I was finding it too slow for my taste, so I drastically cut my points, which is probably not a good idea. About how much have you been losing when following the plan?
  • When I stick with it (which isn't always), I loose about 2 pounds a week. I've done the fast weight loss - almost 30 pounds in a month on phentermine (I think that's how you spell it). Anyway, the weight always comes back for me. This time I'm happy with slow if it sticks.
  • Congrats on your progress so far! I started this week on a 2000 a day change. I know that will need to be lowered every now & then. My goal is 2 lb a week also.
