Inner Thighs

  • What do you do to workout your inner thighs? I'm having issues working out that area, and I need some suggestions.
  • I don't know if there is a specific exercise you can do, but cardio and stability exercises (on a Bosu ball, for example) seem to work well for my thighs in general.
  • Squats?

That machine at the gym where you have to push the weights with your thighs.

Sometimes I even use my thighmaster...
  • I walk the treadmill at a nice incline. I can't do squats do to knee issues. The incline works my inner and backs of my thighs as well as my booty
  • Plie Squat - * Stand with feet slightly more than shoulder-width apart, toes pointed out about 45 degrees.
    * Squat, keeping abs engaged, hands on hips and knees aligned with ankles.
    * Squeeze glutes to stand up. Do 15 reps.

seated hip adduction -- you wouldn't need to sit on a stability ball....could sqeeze a ball between your knees while lying down or doing the bridge http://www.fitlink.com/exercise?type...+hip+adduction

Now remember there is no such thing as spot reduction but this will strengthen these muscles as you lose fat so you can see it work....so make sure you are doing cardio too!!!!
  • Check out pilates. Pilates has at least three inner thigh exercises that I know of. I'm sure you can find a pilates book at the library or Barnes and Noble.

  • Ellipticals for 30-60 minutes a day make mine amazing, and I carry loads of flab there :-)
  • I've done that machine at the gym where you push the weights in with your thighs. My thighs are definitely my problem area. I think it's hereditary...my mom and grandma too. My grandmas was in the hospital for a few months and lost a lot of weight and my mom said "and she STILL has big thighs. we're doomed!" *sigh* Darn genetics!
  • it's not really possible to target a specific area. You can do exercises that will strengthen the muscles there, but it won't remove the fat. Your body is the one that decides where the fat comes off from!
  • i used to do the bun and thighs workout for pilates back in the day, but that's when I used to watch VHS... now that I only have a dvd player, i torrented one online, and it's got the resistance bands added, and so my boyfriend bought them for me and within one week my thighs have already lost at least half an inch! and yes i can tell my inner thighs are smaller try it out!
