I'm right there with you. Allegedly, I have lost 17 pounds. Where did it come off of?! I think my face is looking better and maybe my tummy is a little smaller, but overall, not so much difference. You would think that almost 20 lbs would be noticable. Do you feel as though you have any more energy? I am noticing that.

I think it depends on 1) how heavy you are to start with and 2) how your weight is distributed throughout your body. When I first started losing weight I didn't really see a difference until about 20 lbs. And even then, the difference was very small.

I agree with Joy, it took me about 20 pounds to see a small difference. I am currently wearing the same jeans I started with! Of course when I started they were very tight and I could hardly sit in them. Now, they are very loose. I think another 5 pounds and I will be able to get into a smaller size comfortably. There have been a lot of posts on this so you are not alone. 6 pounds in 2 weeks is great! Be patient and loving to yourself as this is a slow journey.

I agree with Joyc21. I have lost 18 pounds, and I do not notice them on how I look, but I’m petite. I think that I should wait to loss 10 more pounds to start noticing it. However, I feel 100% better than before the lost of the 18 pounds. I have more energy, and I have become more joyful too!
for your 6 pounds

I remember reading an analogy on here about a year ago (I can't remember who said it) that you can imagine loosing weight as unrolling sheets of toilet paper off a toilet paper roll. At first when the roll is big if you take off 10 sheets you can't really tell. But as you go along it gets more noticeable. When the toilet paper roll is almost out, when you take 10 sheets off it is definitely noticeable. I don't know if this will help you but I thought it was a good analogy.

I know exactly where you ladies are coming from! I've lost about 15 pounds, but I don't see it at all. Part of the trouble is that I'm not used to even being as large as I am today, so I still look heavier than normal to myself. I'm sure in time I'll get a chance to realize! I have pictures from when I first found out I was pregnant, from when I was very large and pregnant, a month or so after I lost the baby, and now. I can sort of see the difference, but I'm SO much bigger than I was this summer prior to all this mess. It's almost frustrating to look at comparison pictures because I have so far to go.
