Thinking we might try to do the upside down pots for our tomatos this year (found instructions for homemade pots and stands! I love the internet!!). It was such a pain to try to cover all our plants when frost was threatening us by the middle to end of Sept last year. Was just a cold icky summer all together! The peppers were stubborn too.
As for flowers, I have bulbs for gladiolius. Planted those for the first time last summer but the stalks got thrashed by a couple storms so I might have to rethink location for them. I dug them up, I wasn't sure if they would survive the winter. And we have shasta daisies. The morning glories I planted didn't go to seed, so need to buy more seeds.
We have only lived in this house for a year so we are still working out the kinks.

We have lots of land to work with but don't want anything too permanant cause we are only renting.
