It's amazing how that can lift spirits.Low FBGL this morning but breakfast fixed that. The weight is up a pound but I'm not changing the ticker until it has lied for longer than that. I suspect nibbling on wasabi peas during last night's game may be the cause. Lots of water today to flush it out. I also plan a trip to the doc asap to see if I can ditch this cough and back pain - I suspect bronchitis and want it over with before the 17th when I go to Orlando.
So Happy St. David's Day whether you're Welsh or not. (My husband was a Griffiths.)

and milder temps again today; perfect for shopping and got some walking in this AM too. Time for my tea and put my legs up to rest them now. Have a great day ...
Send me robins!

I know better!
for every 5 lbs lost
This past Sunday I was involved in a car accident. The other driver decided to zip through an intersection without looking and BAM! No one was hurt, thankfully. I was going less than 15 mph but still managed to total her Subaru with my Suburban. Since the accident, I have been walking almost everywhere (to the store, the doctor's office, the gym, etc...). I even purchased a monthly bus pass so I can get around until the car is repaired. Until today, I never realized how easy it is for me to get around and function without an automobile. I think I will definitely keep walking more, even after the car gets fixed. On Monday, following the accident, I had my blood drawn for a blood test. I will meet with my dietitian on Friday to discuss the results. I have increased my Omega-3 intake since starting my healthier eating habits. My red meat consumption has decreased and I regularly eat fish and poultry.
