Hi everyone,
My name is Nikki, I'm 20 and from Australia. I have always had 50 million excuses why weight loss wasn't possible for me and have been wearing a fake smile for too long. I recently came back from an overseas holidays where I got quite ill and dropped 13 kilos (28 lbs) in 3 1/2 weeks and have decided that was as good as a reason as any to make 2010 the year it all changes.
I have plans to see my sister in the US in December this year who I haven't seen since 2005 and I want to look different. So I have given myself a year to start making some big changes.
My overall goals are
Starting Weight: 117 (257)
Current Weight: 104 (229)
Goal by December: 75 (165)
Ultimate Goal: 57 (125)
I know I have a lot of work ahead but I took a positive step today and signed up for a personal trainer and gym membership. I also joined this forum in the hopes of finding a supportive group of people to share the ups and downs with.
