Default ITT We post our biggest 2010 cheat and what we learned

This is especially for calorie counters who can look at their previous days.

Look back over the last 2-4 weeks and see what your highest calorie individual item/meal/cheat was, why you ate it, and what (if anything) you learned from it.

To start for me...

Jan 10th - Double Dave's pizza buffet

Salad with italian dressing (too much)
About 3/4ths of a complete philly cheese steak stromboli

Total 1800 calories!

I learned several things...

1. I am powerless to fight the cravings of 2 pregnant women (who were with us when picking a restaurant

2. Stupid salad dressing always sneaks up on me

3. Going out to eat starved is a BAAAD idea

4. Going out to eat at a buffet while starved is a WORSE idea

5. Going out ot eat at a pizza buffet while starved is a HORRIBLE idea

6. I really like philly cheesesteak stromboli

On my seventh day, I binged because I stayed up too late and was hungry. I demolished a bowl of cereal, two honey-buns and a bowl of rice. I regret it because up to that point I was doing so well! I'm doing better now and have not cheated since that ill-fated day.

Not to be a party pooper, but none for me in two months. I've chosen something that is sustainable for life for me so cheats just aren't part of the plan. That's why I love calorie counting. I enjoyed a small Sundae last night and it was within my calorie range. I'm enjoying eating everything I want guilt free.

Oh lord haha, a few days after christmas (idk if it was 2010 yet though?) I ate half a cheesecake...I don't even want to think about how many calories it was.

It definitely taught me...I can NOT have sweets in the house, because late at night when I'm the only one up I will demolish them. And, if I'm so ashamed of eating something that I feel the need to hide it from other people, I probably shouldn't be eating it in the first place.
