How many seasons of the British version are there? My hubby & I are looking to start the first season after the 6th season of the American verison ends. Can this only be ordered online, or do they sell it at FYE, Best Buy, etc..?

I love The Office! (I was actually just watching it earlier today!)

I believe there is only one, 13 episode season of the British version. As well, many of the scripts of the first season American version are almost word for word the same as the original British, just so you know (I still think it's worth watching, though; the line delivery is VERY different, far more dry than the American version. It's interesting to compare the different cultural senses of humour each version has).

I'm sure you could order it online -- there's probably some clips on YouTube as well.

I watched a couple of episodes of the British version again the other day and was struck by just how uncomfortable (yet funny!) they are to watch. The American show is funny and I like it, but the British version just makes me cringe because David is so.....clueless. I love Ricky Gervais and he was perfect for that role.

I think that the eps are being played on Adult Swim still, so you could maybe DRV them and start watching once you've got the premier.
