shakes off last big of eggshell and plumps out feathers*
Hello, everyone! It's another new fat chick on a diet!
I found the site while I was searching for info about the plan I'm currently trying.
My History:
I came out on the other side of puberty quite round. I have not been obese all of my adulthood but I have had to always watch what I eat cause I tended to gain weight very easily. I've always had to be conscious about what I ate and to exercise just to stay in the top ranges of my weight range.
Fast forward - Got married; decided to have kids. Was left with 80 extra lbs. from 2 pregnancies that would not go away. All I lost at the end was the weight of each child. In the past eight years, I have been on what feels like every reasonable diet plan yet invented and discovered that not only does my body gain weight easily, it is also

weight loss resistant! 16 months ago, we moved from Georgia to Texas. During the time of the move, I gained another 8 lbs. I was very frustrated and ready to give up, but I discovered a (to me) new program in Texas.
Don't know if I'm allowed to name the program.... Anyway, the plan is supposed to work metabolically, and at first, I was having great success and lost 17 lbs. in a couple of months. Now, I have hit the same roadblock I keep hitting -- My weight reaches a certain point and then it will just shift back up 5-6 lbs. And it takes the same amount of time to lose back down as it did originally. So, I always get stuck in this cycle. The people at my center are great and are doing everything they know to do to help. My problem is I get frustrated, which destroys motivation.
So I hope support from this site can help keep me motivated. Sorry about the novel.
