Default How to End a Bloat!

So, I've been working out regularly and eating low levels of calories, and I'd lost a decent amount of weight this week...BUT somehow yesterday I let my sodium get out of control and consumed probably 4 times the amount of salt that I should have! I drank a lot of water to counteract it last night, but I know it hasn't all come out yet because I probably had like 2 liters and only peed twice. My weight was up a whole 1.4 lbs this morning : ( and this is really throwing me off! What do I do to make this go away?!

Time and water. I had baked ham earlier this week and even though I drank about 40 oz of water before bedtime, I was still up 1.6 lbs the next day due to the sodium. But I dropped 2 lbs the next day by making sure I got my water in and ate low-sodium foods.

put a real lemon in your water. I did a very strenuous diet years ago (I was naive then), but when I ate something that had salt (off program) they would have me squeeze a full lemon in my water. It works...... not the best tasting, but it is drinkable. You are not supposed to use ANY kind of sweetener with it though.

I am not an MD....... but that what I do. I had chinese yesterday...... I am chasing with lemon water today!

I had a salt and sugar blowout this weekend 7.5 pounds of water weight on Monday. Been drinking a lot of water, it has been dropping slowly. I've heard that about the lemon, but never tried it. Yesterday I had lemon in my water almost all day and had dropped more water this morning than the last three days put together. Could be coincidence, but I'm going to try the lemon again today!

You guys are awesome...I'm def. going to try to find a lemon somewhere lol...it's so hard when you're on a campus to get anything fresh. But I had a coffee this morning which I think helped a little, but I've also been drinking water like crazy and I haven't consumed any significant amount of sodium today. Hopefully tomorrow I will be back on track! And this was a good lesson...I never thought too much about sodium before, but all that salt made me feel beyond horrible...I had a really bad stomachache and some other unpleasant side effects that continued into the morning. Never again!

Sweet, I had soup the other day--and it killed my weighing. Definitely going to try the lemon trick once I get a few!
