Unless you ate 35,000 extra calories and basically sat in a chair all weekend, there's no way you physically gained 10 lbs. That's the good news.

It's probably all sodium. When you go from a clean diet with lots of nutrition (read: veggies) and minimal processed foods, going off plan for 2 days can throw off your balance. I'm sure the majority, if not all, is water weight but it can take a few days for your body to flush it out.

Don't get discouraged! Keep chugging and that weight will fly off, you'll see.

You have not gained 10 pounds of weight...Maybe 10 pounds of water weight, sodium???? and

it's not a one moment in time....it's a lifetime of losing and maintaining.

I agree with Sunnigummi. MAJORITY of it IS most likely water weight, but some of it probably isn't.

Get back to your plan ASAP and perhaps plan a little better next time you go to your folks house.

Sticking with your plan will have those 10 lbs gone and then some. You'll see.

Most important thing is to let go of what happened, stop beating yourself up, and focus on today. You can do it!
