Default thunder thighs make me angry!

i'm becoming very frustrated with my thighs. i don't understand how after losing almost 40 lbs they're still the same freakin size. my outer thighs and lower thighs are really toned but my upper thighs are now twice the size of the lower because they haven't lost any fat at all. i've always heard that the inner thigh fat is the hardest to get rid of, but really? nothin? grrrrr. does anyone else have this issue? please tell me i'm not alone in the world of jumbo thighs.

LOL, I think mine have the same proportions. I'm chalking it up to jeans and am trying to make a bit more muscle to firm 'em up.

Its the jiggle I hate

I haven't lost that much weight so far...only about 15 lbs...but at the same time, i can see a difference in my arms and belly, but not in my thighs. I've always had huge thighs....I hope they go away >.<

My thighs have only gotten about 1/2 inch smaller, and my lower belly has gotten bigger after losing almost 30lbs. go figure. The only place I can tell I've lost is my feet and a little in my neck

IS there any workout you can do that focuses mainly on your thighs?

Thats all I really have, since my problem sits in the tummy. =/

I still have stubborn fat on my lower stomach and inner thighs. I'm hoping that when I reach my goal, it'll be gone, but I feel your pain! I have stepped up my exercise, so hopefully that'll make a difference as well.

I feel your pain! I swear that i have bigger thighs than anyone i've seen that's close to my size, as well as most people who are heavier than me...my thighs have gone down a bit with running, and they definitely looked more toned/less cellulite, but they are definitely still there...

my legs look like drumsticks! small at the bottom with a big chunk of meat at the top

hahaha skinnywish, i'm the same way!! my mom and i always joke about how we really do have chicken legs, and not those girls on the beach who have no fat cuz we got the drumsticks. i have recently started running (c25k...back on week one again cuz i gave up for two weeks) so i'm hoping that makes a bit of a difference.

carcar-i did 30 day shred for (for the first 15 days and then i became a slacker) and while it did wonders for my lower and outer thighs, my upper inner thighs had NO change. i also do all sorts of upper leg exercises from my physical therapist a few years ago cuz i have bad knees. she assured me they would make my thighs shrink too. apparently she's a liar haha.

If you don't mind a middle aged woman adding her two cents:

I remember being called thunder thighs when I was 18 and weighed 60lbs less than I do now. I hated my thighs.
But I remember also that I did not like to work out (with weights) because my thighs would get bigger.
So how much more muscle do you have on your thighs?

When I was older and still pretty slim (140) and I was running 5 and 6 miles a day- I came to love my thunder thighs - they made me feel really powerful and strong.

I've got very jiggly thighs! They have gotten smaller since my pants sizes have decreased, but it doesn't seem visible to me. More strength training moves would help, but I don't do it frequently enough lol. The 30 Day shred level 3 seems to kick my butt (pun intended lol).
Anyway, I've learned to love my thunder thighs!

Weight loss happens unevenly. You just really can't tell how it will be in the end until you get there. But I understand the frustration

Cardio really helped me with losing inches off my thighs. They still jiggle, but not as much as they used to. The running will probably help you lots, Amy.
