Newbie here! :)
Hi everyone! So I've been reading this forum on my phone all day at work lol This is my first day here... Heres a little bit about myself... My name is Michelle, I'm 5'10 and started my weight loss program with Metabolic Research Center on July 20th. I started off weighing 237lbs and so far down to 228lbs..I'm really glad I found this forum because reading all these success stories just makes me inspired to reach my goal weight of 167lbs. I may go even more than that, but with Metabolic we decided 167lbs will be my goals..anyways I'm originally from South Florida, moved to SC because my husband is a Marine stationed on Parris Island... We got married right before we moved here almost 2 years ago and I've pretty much gained 50lbs within those 2 years...Its really depressing to see how much weight I've put on in so little time and I didn't even have any kids or have been pregnant yet! My goal pretty much is to be at that weight by the end of October...My husband is running the Marine Corps Marathon and I want to be healthy and look good for him when it comes down to that time. Not to mention I want to stay healthy and feel better about myself than I do now. I also work for an insurance agency so trying to get exercise during the day is rough because I sit on my butt most of the day..lol Not to mention my stress level at this job is through the roof during the day which I believe helped put on the pounds... I work with 3 other girls in my agency and all 3 are overweight/obese and they don't want to do nothing about it, so I'm hoping with my weight loss it will help them motivate themselves to be better people too... But they aren't making it easy on me...They go to McDonalds for lunch and bring sundaes back and rub it in my face, along with other goodies we get from insurance company reps that come and visit us... And also criticizing all the food I eat..
So anyways I've think I've written almost a book about myself lol
