I was told that if it's anything in my chest...like a cough or chest cold, then stay away from working out 'til it's gone. But if I've got a little cold or something I keep working out, just maybe at a lighter rate, and I pay attention to my body more. If I'm feeling weak sooner than normal, etc., I'll call it a day.
About mid-weight loss journey I got the flu, and didn't work out for about a week and a half, until it was totally gone (even though I felt mostly fine after about 4 days). It was like day one all over again...
