just starting...again

  • Hello! Well, here it is Monday and I'm starting over on this weight loss journey...for the millionth time. I'm 47 years old and have been denying my weight issues since my last child was born--which was 21 years ago! Yikes! Anyway, I thought I'd see what others were on and choose a diet from there. I'm really looking for motivation! I have a grandson and I so want to stay healthy so I can play with him. He likes to run and I want to be able to keep up! I've been on many different diets, but haven't been "sold" on them enough to stay on them. I'm hoping it will be different this time. I'm hoping this is in the right place on the site!
  • Welcome! If you poke around the different forums, you'll see people doing all sorts of different things. I just watch my calories and try to exercise every day. The best way to make weight loss work long term is to make lifestyle changes that you will enjoy and keep with after the weight is gone.
