Hi I am new here. So glad to have found this site. I came across it when I did a google search about dry/cooked pasta. I have been struggling w/weight for awhile. About 3 years ago I was close to my goal and started slacking, always thinking I will get back on track "tomorrow" ......well here I am 3 years later and far from goal AGAIN.......so frustrating but my own fault. I have tried many things---LA Weight Loss, WW, South Beach, I had my most success w/WW......for me some of the other types are higher in protein and don't work so well for me but for now I am trying my own thing by writing down what I eat and the calories. I find w/some programs they are restrictive and then I do great for 3 weeks and then I totally binge when I fall off even a little. I am hoping by next month at this time to have at least lost 10 lbs.

Counting Calories
If you are looking for easy ways to count and keep track of calories, there are lots of great websites out there that do food diarys or logs. I am not sure if 3FC has one or not, I am new. I really like the one I use, as I can store custom foods that aren't in their list and it give me the totals of lots of things beside Fat and calories. It also has an exercise log. I like that I can enter food from anywhere (internet based) and don't have to carry a book or anything with me. It also lets me do planning, so I can plan a whole day out and know what my totals look like before I eat vs after I have already eaten.
