Default Finally making a positive change

Hey everybody,
Nice to meet you all. Finally after 38 years, I've finally decided to make a change in my life. Wouldn't it be great to press a magic button and have the weight be gone? I realize that it took many years to put the weight on and I'm willing to begin the effort to start taking it off.
Started out at 320 lbs., now at 316 lbs, and my 1st goal is 275. When I accomplish one goal, it'll be time to make another. Smaller goals is the way I'm looking at it. 200 sounds good to me at this point.
I've already made the change 2 months ago. I've chosen to have no pop/soda, no chips, no candy...it was difficult at first...now I don't miss it all that much. It's the regular exercise part I'm having difficulty with.
Hope to get to know more you better.

Hiya Snow! Congrats on your decision! It's a long hard road but so many people here that I've seen posting have been through it. My favorite quote ever is "The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step". Well hon, you've started your thousand miles. Keep it up and maybe we can encourage each other to stay motivated. I hate exercising. And eating.

GL and hope to hear a lot from ya on here:-)

Thanks for the welcome. I appreciate it. Walked briskly for 2 sessions of 20 mins. today. Just have to keep doing it on a daily basis.

Hi Snowflake, I just started too, I started at about 275, I'm down to 268.5 my first mini goal is 250 I'd like a final goal of about 150 but realistically I figure it is better to hope to make it there within 2 years. I had always wanted quick results that were so impossible to get to that I'd get discourage real soon so this time I am being realistic and doing it right. Wish you all the luck and I'm glad there is so more newbies here.
