Default Crab Surimi

I have searched for calories in crab surimi and a stick seems to be around 24Kcal. I think that's a lotttt?????????????????????

Instead of sticks I am having slices. I had 2 slices of crab surimi and 2 slices of pineapple for dinner tonight. I love that combination. But now I regret eating them

24 calories isn't a lot, that's just barely 1/4 of an apple's.

I've not seen surimi in slices - but what is the caloric difference.

Is it the K that has you worried, because a Kcalorie is the same as a calorie (when it comes to food counts). One food calorie is actually 1000 calories, but only chemists and other scientists deal in calories.

Yes, I agree, it isnt a lot. But you feel as if you ate nothing!! If I keep on eating it, I would continue non stop haha I am also aware about the Kcal and calories, they are the same, thanks!

Two pineapple slices that weigh a total of 6 oz. only has 80 calories...did you think that they had more than that? It looks like you many not have even broke 150 calories for dinner, but if the surimi roll had rice in it, I bet it has more calories. I am not a sushi/surimi person, but it looks like the stick doesn't have rice. According to this link, the roll might have closer to 50 calories each: http://www.thedailyplate.com/nutriti...-alternatives/

Even at 70 calories a slice, and assuming the krab slices were 50 calories a piece, you would still be talking less than 240 calories for dinner. That sounds like a crash diet, even for someone at a healthy weight, unless your other meals were A LOT larger.

I had crab surimi this evening. The nutritional information on the pack I had shows 75 cals for a quarter pack (5 sticks or about 60g).
