Fast Food Nation was originally a nonfiction book, then was made into a dramatized movie. I would recommend the book over the movie. Although the movie was OK and did a lot to highlight some of what the book discusses, it is not a documentary.
I saw
Super Size Me years ago, and I still like fast food. But I'll go for a happy meal now instead of a value meal. As Spurlock says, it's about corporate AND individual responsibility. Go ahead and eat at McDonald's once a week, or once a month, or whatever, just don't feel obligated to eat the biggest meal they offer.
