Well, I'm not so sure if I'd actually go and PLAN a binge. Back in my morbidly obese days, I actually DID plan for binges. I would actually go to the store and "stock up" for them. So, no planning a binge it definitely out of the question.
BUT, that being said, I'm thrilled to hear that you haven't decided "the heck with the whole day now, I've already eaten
xyz, I might as well eat everything else in sight", because back in the day that's EXACTLY what I would have done. But no, it's right back on plan - pronto. When you do go off plan (& of course it's going to happen) the best strategy is to get
immediately back on track with the very next food choice - no waiting around for tomorrow. The whole day is not "shot".
Minimize the damage done. If only I'd had done that my entire life, well, I probably wouldn't be on this site right now. So yes, I think it's a
big victory to get back to healthy eating and your plan with lunch and dinner and exericse. Good save.
Just one more thing I thought of. Did you figure out and at least learn why this binge occured? Were you not prepared? Did you not plan for a healthy meal? There is no reason whatsoever to beat yourself up. What's done is done and over with.
