have you tried drinking lots of water to see if it is just water being retained? I gained a heap last week from exercising lots, i didnt think i drank an excessive amount and i didnt even reach maintenance levels of calories. This week ive dropped it and more. I guess if you really want it to add up you have to measure what is going in AND what is coming out
