Default calories while sick

What do you all do when you are not feeling well, be it nausea, flu, head cold etc?
I have a cold, and no appetite. This is day 3.
Yesterday I still ate all my meals, though i skipped 2 snacks as I was just ugh! My throat is sore too so i just didn't feel like it. I don't want to stall my metabolism and still got in about 1200 yesterday..today i ate meal 1 and still don't feel like having a snack.

Was wondering what you all do?

Listen to your body! 1, 2 or even 3 days of lower calories are not going to stall your weight loss - it is when it starts becoming habitual that you have a problem. Get lots of rest, have some good nutritious soup or something when you do feel able to eat, and FEEL BETTER SOON!

Yeah, I wouldn't worry too much about it. If you're really sick and your body doesn't want to eat, that's OK...make sure you're getting plenty of fluids, and if it's more than a few days of not wanting to eat at all, you may want to talk to a doctor.

Your body naturally stalls because it's paying attention to fighting the cold. After you start getting better, that's when you'll want to eat everything in sight. Your body will tell you what it needs.

I have not gotten sick since I started counting calories, but I would assume you need to eat more to get better. Hope you feel better soon Natalia
