Smile just started going to a weight loss center

Hi! My name is Lisa, I am a 21 year old college student and I just started going to a weight loss clinic in Tampa this week. I have to go every week for a weigh in and a B12 shot, and every day I have to take pills that help me out. Actually, the pills have been my biggest problem so far. I'm not good at taking pills and one of them is huge!! I haven't been able to get it down with out it dissolving first! The other thing is making the food taste good, I came up with one chicken recipe that was pretty good, but other than that everything else was pretty bad... my food list is so limited!! so if you are doing a similar diet and have any good recipes I would love to swap them!! Hope to hear from some of you!!

Hi Lisa

You may want to check under Diet Central for anyone doing something similar. There's also a 20-something's section that may interest you.

Post wherever you're comfortable. Best of success!

Hi Lisa! What are you studying?

There are many different subforums here with lots of support. Check out the 100 lb Club for starters. It sounds like you have some tools to help you along the way. What are your plans for nutrition and movement?

Heya Lisa - welcome!

There's a ton of college students on the boards - I'm sure you'll find some in the 20 somethings forum, which you can check out in the support groups.

There's also some good recipes all over - check out the 'food' sub forum, and also - weight watchers and some of the other diet plans sometimes have interesting recipes too.

Good luck!

Thanks for all of the advice!! And to answer your questions... I am about to switch from engineering to business, for nutrition I have to follow a very strict diet the doctor gave me, and for movement my I started going to the gym with my boyfriend a couple of weeks ago.
