I LOVE rain. So I'm grateful I got to do my yoga this morning to the sounds of a heavy rain. Makes me happy

I am grateful that the majority of our group was able to make it out for our special ed department Christmas get together this afternoon. It was fun sitting around with everyone in a low-key manner!

I'm also grateful to have my power/heat back after having it out from Thursday night to Saturday morning from the ice storm last week.

Oh, I'm grateful for so many things.

Right now, I'm very grateful to have a dad who is not only a genius at fixing, assembling, and all of the general things you need when you first buy a house, but who also is willing to give up his one day a week off to drive an hour to MY house and do that assembling and fixing, AND who knows how important it is that I be able to do things myself, so takes the time to teach me, too. Soo blessed.

I'm also grateful to have a mom who will take time out of her day to stop at my favorite butcher shop and bring me a freezer-full of all of my favorites. Makes dinner so easy! Not to mention she loans me her husband for all of the aforementioned fixing.

And I'm grateful to have such love in my life, from my wife, from my family, and from my friends.

I am grateful that it's -10 degrees and I'm inside and warm. I hope those who aren't as fortunate are found soon so they can be taken to the shelters.
(And I'm grateful that our city does a fabulous job of finding and taking care of those that don't have homes when it gets this cold).
