Not rly weight related, but it's happened since before I can even remember.... When I go to the bathroom, no matter what I'm doing, or how easy or difficult it might be.. if you catch my drift... I always cry. I'm not talking emotional crying no no, I'm talking tears to my eyes. There's no pain when I use the bathroom, but it never fails. Does this happen to anybody else (I've never asked about it in my life) or does anybody know why this might happen???
No I never have brought it up to a doctor... Mostly because I thought it was normal for eyes to water... but I discovered a while ago that it's obviously not. I never think to ask when I have an appointment.
Ditto what Chris said. I just saw this question asked on a doctors tv show last week. None of the docs on the panel had heard the question before but when the woman said there was no pain, they all said not to worry about it.
Same thing happens to me and my sister. No pain and yet there are tears. Not always but I would say 90% of the time. I'm glad we aren't the only cry babies
not to make light of your situation, but that reminded me of mallrats. when shannon doherty is climbing out of jason lee's basement room. and she's explaining why she's always in the bathroom for so long. and she confesses it's bc she cries.
I do the same thing. I don't know why.... but when my muscles relax (or contract) go to 1 or 2... my tears flow.
I also cry when I am outside in the cold air. In the wintertime I've always got a HUGE wad of tissues in my pocket. My friends are used to it, but I've had complete strangers come up to me and ask "are you okay?" It's kind of embarassing, but I just laugh it off and tell them that I have sensitive eyes to the wind/cold.

Happens to me to, though oddly, usually only the right eye. Sometimes both, but not often. The same thing happens to my right eye when I have even a minor cold or allergy, or like Tamaralynn, when cold air blows in my eye, or even when I cut my eyes to the side too fast, and lastly (and the most awkward, actually) when DH and I are intimate it happens sometimes - disturbed him at first but now he gets it.
I've never asked anyone about any of it, particularly the bathroom part - I'm glad it isn't just me! Like Photo Chick said yesterday in another thread, where else can you go to have these kinds of conversations and ask these questions! I'm so glad I found this site!
Okay, not when I'm going to the bathroom, but my eyes water (not crying) when I orgasm. tears of joy...lmao! maybe its a psychological thing, deeply ingrained since birth, like when I'm making coffee in the morning I always have to go to the bathroom all the sudden.
