Ok, I know that I've told y'all about how there are Hispanics at work that are trying to holla at me, but they don't speak English.
I've been gracious and I've politely said no. But now, I feel so uncomfortable when I go out to the plant, which I have to do quite often. They do a low whistle and make sure the other guys know that I'm on the floor so they can look at me. At first, it was not a big deal, but now or at least today, I felt very uncomfortable.
I told my friend who is also the production manager about it. He asked me if I wanted it to stop and I said yes because it makes me feel uncomfortable.
He said that he would handle it so he went and told them that it makes me feel uncomfortable and to stop.
Did I do the right thing? I feel bad that he had to say something but I don't like feeling uncomfortable. I'm not going to pursue sexual harassment or anything like that, but I want to make sure I did the right thing.
