Supplement: helpful? work? hazardous???

  • i keep seeing this ad for these two supplements, and im wondering if anyone has tried them and if in fact they work, or if they were a total waste of time.
    pure acai berry
    and
    life clense all natural antixidant
please let me know as i have become quiet curious.
  • Total waste of time. I haven't tried them and I can tell you that anyway.

The body does not need to detox or cleanse. It does that all on it's own from your own biological functions. Eat healthy foods, exercise, and drink lots of water and your body will take care of "cleansing" itself.

And acai berry may have good antioxidant properties and lots of vitamains, but its' still no miracle pill that will cause you to lose weight.

Sorry to be a buzzkill. But the truth is theres' no magic pill.

    .
  • We got some samples of the acai berry products. That stuff tastes nasty.

You only need to cleanse when the dr tells you to do it for a medical procedure.
  • A friend of mine sells Mona Vie which is a drink made with acai berry as well as other stuff. While I feel sure it has antioxidant properties it is cheaper and more filling for me to get stuff from Farmer's Market and hog out!
  • Mona Vie is gross, too! I like blueberries. They have a lot of antioxidant properties. I'm with you. Farmer's Markets rock.
